Troubleshooting/Repair

  • Repair the issues found in the diagnostics (basically the labor to do the repairs).

Memory Installation

  • When we install memory, it is far from a "slap it in and go" procedure.  We check timings and settings for the memory, adjust them accordingly, set paging file sizes, along with a few other adjustments to give optimal performance.

Hard Drive Installation ONLY

  • One hour of labor plus parts

Custom Computer Builds:

System prices vary depending on parts and specs. We do NOT build CHEAP systems…we DO, however, build the most inexpensive QUALITY systems we possibly can.

We have a very strict quality process here at PC Care. If we hear of a part failing more than once or twice…we do not recommend it going into our systems. Simple as that. We expect perfection from our systems, or as close as possible to perfection (since we cannot control the manufacturing process).

We ARE gamers, as well as professional builders/technicians. We expect RELIABLE PERFORMANCE, and expect our systems to last 10 years RELIABLY (although hard drives are an exception in that they typically last 3-5 years). We spend considerable time testing, tweaking and benchmarking setups, so that you don't have to!

Field Calls:

Our technician goes to your house/business and troubleshoots what the issue is. We charge a one-hour minimum and round up to nearest ½-hour thereafter. Most things can be fixed in field; however, if parts are needed, we bring the system back to the shop, order the parts and deliver the computer back to the client when finished.

Hardware Installations:

NOTE: we HIGHLY recommend NOT purchasing parts yourself and having us install them purely for reliability reasons. We choose our suppliers very carefully and do not settle for second rate. It also allows us to warranty our work, which we prefer; however, we cannot warranty our work using customer- supplied parts.

As with all of our services, you will know in advance what the charges will be every step of the way.
